Graffiti on war memorial

Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council less than a minute later

There is gang-related graffiti on the sculpture in the war memorial gardens. This is not only unsightly but also promotes gang tensions in the area.

Prompt reply from LB Tower Hamlets stating that the memorial is not on council land; and that the trust that owns the memorial is planning to have it cleaned, and to have it fenced off to prevent further graffiti.
