Vehicles crossing lawn

Sent to Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council 4 minutes later

For two or three months there has been an ongoing problem of cars, but more likely trucks, taking a bit of a "shortcut" across our lawn, leaving large dual wheel ruts in the lawn. My wife and I are pensioners and I am disabled, and I am just wondering if council would assist in some way, perhaps by installing some small posts around the corner perimeter with suitable reflectors?

Because our street has not been adopted by the council, they are unable to offer any assistance at all.

Well in that case I suggest putting some large rocks around the perimeter - ask some local lads to do the lifting... An object on the edge of the lawn will put most trucks off cutting those corners.
