Metal sign on pole

Sent to Hackney Borough Council 2 minutes later

A new, large Humps directional sign has slipped down the pole, becoming hazardous to pedestrians; in fact, someone has turned it so that it's now parallel to the road, and no longer serving its purpose. Personally I can't see the necessity of this and its matching sign on the opposite side of the road facing the other direction. It seems a good example of superfluous signage. I can't see why humps are signposted at all, since they are so ubiquitous on back and side streets, which everyone knows.

This (in my view superfluous) sign remains a hazard, positioned too low, and is now showing signs of having been bashed (by passing traffic?). It really should be raised, out of harm's way.

It took a while, but the sign has been raised and righted, and presumably tightened.
