Light works intermittantly

The street light which is positioned outside no 36 Ibbett Close is faulty. Most nights it does not come on - particularly after it rains!! I can make it come on if I give it a vigorous shake. To me this suggests that water is getting in to the light - not a good mixture with electricity. Also something in the light is not connected properly.

Updates
The light has not been fixed yet - in fact it does not come on at all now. There are street lights at each end of the "dog leg" portion of Ibbett Close but this light is the only one in between them. The general level of street lighting in Ibbett Close is quite poor anyway and this just makes it worse and potentially dangerous considering the state of repair of the pavements.
