Information board missing

At the remains of Barking Abbey there is a stone plinth that obviously used to have an information/interpretation board attached. However, as can be seen in the attached photo, there is nothing attached now.

The plinth is located near the entrance to the abbey site from Abbey Road. The location of the flag is probably only accurate to about 10m metres.

Had a reply from the council saying that it will not be fixed until the revamp of the abbey area happens. Hopefully in the next 18 months-ish apparently.
