More rubbish has been dumped since this was posted. I am concerned this is a fire risk.

Council have responded: "I have spoken with the Street Cleansing inspector regarding this issue. He advises me that the fly tipping is on Private land actually in the garden. I will forward this email to Environmental Services in case they can help with this issue". It's not in a garden.

Rubbish still there. I did receive a further call from the Council advising that they were trying to find the landowner.

Reported a gentleman who was dumping rubbish there to the police this morning. Believe he left before the police arrived.

Rubbish has been moved today but curiously the same time as scorch marks appeared on the wall. I can only assume that the rubbish was set fire to and only moved after a visit from the fire brigade. After it being an eyesore my second thought (or, more accurately, that of my girlfriend) was that it was a fire hazard. Luckily it was not more serious.
