Litter on grass verges

Yet again, the grass alongside Small Heath Highway is covered in litter. This is the 'gateway' to the city from the NEC and the airport. What an impression to give! Some litter-picking was done at the end of last week, but it's an on-going problem and already need attention again. Is the rubbish originating from the council lorries as they return to the depot?

The response was quite quick and it has been cleared at least twice since I reported it. The litter here is an on-going problem though. I noticed that the litter-pickers were out this morning alongside the mowers; that seems a good, regular approach in the summer, but regular clearance is also needed in the non-mowing months.
