I walk my children to school every weekday and the dog mess on our route is horrendous We counted 30 dog mess's on monday on our route from Taff terr,-corporation rd, - cambridge st, - grange place,- Holmsdale st,- st fagans st,- paget st and Bromsgrove, My 2 year old has become really good as spotter, shouting "POO" and pointing to the offending mess.

The council have put up notice's in the area. as they said they would. but it has had no effect on the sheer amount of dog poo on the pavement, Only yesterday I wheeled the pram through a giant stinking pile. I then had to spend 10 mins with boiling water trying to get it off. Come on council we need a warden to follow people home and give fines for offenders. you would only have to do it for a week or two in every area. to have a serouis impact. plus the fines alone would more than pay for the wardens salary.
