Grass verges not properly restored after being dug up

For most of December there was a large hole in the pavement outside house nos. 269 and 267 while work was being done on the gas main. The paving slabs were replaced nicely but the grass verges were just backfilled with dirt and stones, no effort being made to restore topsoil or re-grass.

Had a message from the council saying it would be addressed but nothing has been done as far as I can see. (Not an urgent/dangerous matter, just unsightly and will probably be full of weeds before long.)
