Saltaire is a World Heritage site and as such is kept in fairly good condition. However there is one area that is NEVER cleared of litter and it has accumulated to the point now where it is both a health hazard and a real eyesore, a blemish on Saltaire Park. As you walk into the Park from the Victoria Road side you cross a footbridge, and on the right hand side of the bridge, between the NHS Car Park and the River there is a small area of land that is absolutely COVERED in litter. It would be nice to think the Council would take ownership for clearing this, however if it is beyond their "remit" could THE COUNCIL THEMSELVES please proactively request it get cleared from whoever owns that small patch of land. The area has been marked exactly on the map provided.
